When I first got the call about two classic Lincoln Continentals for sale, I was admittedly the most excited about the four door '67 Suicide Door Convertible. But upon arriving at the photo shoot this 1970 Lincoln Mark III stole the show.
This car is nearly impeccable. It has been completely restored down to the gas tank, brakes, engine rebuilt, interior and paint. The bumpers have been rechromed and the front grill looks brand new. The seller says he has $30,000 into the restoration. The chroming alone totaled around $4,000. The result is stunning. This car exudes style, class, luxury and respect.
From the undercarriage to the engine, this car is just about as nice as possible. It has the 460 ci engine, factory A/C (that hasn't been charged since the engine was reassembled), and power everything. The engine has fewer than 3000 miles on it since it was rebuilt.
The white wall tires are new on this car. They not only look great, but they are one of many items that help this car ride as smoothy as possible down the road.
The interior on this car is fantastic. The seats have been recovered, there is new beautiful carpet on the floors, and there are bells and whistles everywhere. There is a new CD player fitted below the dash for wonderful sound and convenience.
This car is sure to get everyone's attention. This is one of the classiest cars I have ever listed. And it is by far the nicest example of the rare Mark III Lincoln I have ever seen.
