We have a very original rare 1967 Oldsmobile 442 for sale. The Olds 442 is one of the most recognized classic muscle cars to ever come out of the General Motors Factory. In order to be a true 442 the 442 performance option had to be included on the build sheet. Without a window sticker or some type of documentation you can not prove any car to be a true 442.
With that introduction I'm sure you can guess that this car comes with the proof needed to document it as a true 442. Not only does this car still have the original window sticker from when it was sold new in Los Angeles, California, but it still has the original paint, engine and sheet metal!
This is one rare find. It's only original once and since it has been decades since these cars were sold new you can bet there are very few out there with original paint in this shape.
Along with the 442 Performance Package, this 1967 Cutlass Supreme Holiday Coupe was treated to over $1500 in options and upgrades (these are 1967 dollars mind you). There is a photo of the original window sticker showing all of the options on this classic Cutlass shown towards the end of the close up photo gallery.
There is a link below this written description that will take you to many more detailed photos of the interior and exterior of this classic Cutlass.
Here are a few features on this solid and original Olds 442:
The seats have been reupholstered and they match the original interior panels perfectly. The car also has a nicely installed new black headliner. The power antenna works and the air conditioning has just been recharged and it blows nice and cold. Currently the car has a 307 ratio posi rear but the original 307 ratio open rear end is still with the seller.
Both the engine and original transmission were rebuilt in 1998. The car has been driven about 10k miles since. The receipts come with the extensive book of owner records that come with the car.
If you are wondering what it is like to have a car like this in your collection consider that the current owner has kept this car since he purchased it in 1986! It's a rare find and a keeper for sure. This is one of the few times this car has come up for sale in its lifetime and it may be another 20+ years before it is available again.
If you have any question about the value of classic and true 442s, do an advanced search to see item number 190306349021. That '67 Olds 442 was bid to over $40,000! A nice paint job could double the price tag on this car. So even with an $8-$10k paint job there is room to make $10,000. It is nice to know you are making a sound investment.
Please take the time to enjoy the photo galleries and video so you can get to know every area of this classic 442. Call or email if you have questions or if you would like to reserve this car for your collection.
Thank you for your interest. -John Snell.
