Few cars are as beautiful and eloquent as this 1958 Rolls Royce Silver Cloud 1 for sale. True to its name, the Rolls Royce Silver Cloud 1 offers such a smooth ride it almost feels as if you are being carried over the road. Any Rolls Royce is an attention getting icon, but the Silver Cloud 1 offers a design that is impossible to pass by without demanding attention. This 1958 Rolls Royce Silver Cloud has been loved and thoroughly appreciated by the past two owners. The sellers have had this car in their family for 16 years! And I am told the prior owner had the car for 20 years. It's obvious that this car has been treated well, and judging by the long length ownerships, this classic Rolls Royce has treated the owners well too.
A body and paint restoration was done on this Silver Cloud 1 in 2007. The paint, body and chrome bumpers were all redone to a very shiny finish. New classic white wall tires were fitted to the beautifully refurbished Rolls Royce body. This Rolls Royce Silver Could 1 is now dressed to impress--and impress it does! During our photo shoot we had more waves, thumbs up, verbal compliments, questions, and smiling praise and attention than you would likely get from a brand new, $180,000 Bentley!
One advantage to having only a few previous owners is that this car has not been tampered with or modified like some of the other Silver Cloud 1 Rolls Royces for Sale. Our Rolls maintains its original engine and transmission. Mechanically the car starts right up and runs well. It can function as a daily driver exactly as is, and this car had been used on a regular basis during the past few summers. The owner has accompanied and driven the car as it has been rented for weddings and other special occasions. Justin Morneau of Minnesota Twins fame was chauffeured in this very car for his wedding. There is hardly a better and more classy backdrop for wedding photos than a classic 1958 Rolls Royce Silver Cloud.
The colors on this car are among my favorite combinations. The red leather interior is original in every way and is certainly usable and presentable as is. The dash components work, the fuel door release is fully functional, and there is also a second fuel door release in the trunk! The trunk spare tire does not have a rim. The trays for the rear passengers open and close as they should, and the interior is comfortable and authentic.
Turn signals, lights, and horn all work as they should. This is a fully functional, jump in and drive and enjoy 1958 Rolls Royce Silver Cloud 1.
