We have a beautiful and very rare 1958 Morgan 4/4 Series II Competition Model for sale. There were only 38 of these fine tuned machines produced and the Chassis No. of this Series II is A324.
This rare classic has been completely restored and developed by a Morgan/Vintage race car specialist to create the best 4/4 in the world! This extensive nut and bolt restoration was built on the original (30,000 mi.) frame with added engine bay diagonal braces for improved cornering and handling. The Morgan now has a new Plus 4 sub-frame with thick wall tube inserts incorporating 1 ½ inch chassis drop. Among the many improvements is a steering upgrade with Thompson rods. What all of this means is that this Morgan handles as great as it looks.
The body has been completely rebuilt with new wood, sheet metal, fenders widened to suit wide track chassis, steel tube scuttle hoop, powder coated firewall, alloy floors, hood fitted with carb air scoop, top louvers added, louvered spare wheel closing panel, Alfa Spider roll bar, and custom pillars to increase the windshield rake.
The interior has been finished with new black leather Lawrencetune bucket seats and a Moto Lita wood rim wheel. The dash sports refurbished original cream face instruments set in the Supersport style dash.
Specifications:
Front suspension: Plus 8 stub axles, special offset front hubs, decamber plates providing ½ degree negative geometry, Suzuki shocks. Rear Spax adjustable tube shock conversion.
Drive train: Ford Kent engine built on 711M block, 1,700 cc, Webers, custom exhaust header, oil cooler – a tractable 140 bhp. Rebuilt T9 5-speed transmission, Escort Mexico alloy bell housing, Tilton hydraulic center release bearing, Stronger MG semi-floating rear axle, 3.9 ratio.
Dual circuit brakes, ATE calipers, cross drilled slotted rotors, 10 inch rear drums, 5 ½ inch reverse rim original style round hole wheels with 205/60.15 Yokohama tires.

The Series II 4/4 with its small cowl and low profile body has always been regarded as the high point in Morgan purity of line. This A324, sympathetically enhancing the spirit of the original and finished in Porsche Signal yellow over Jaguar Indigo blue fenders, represents the most visually stunning Morgan imaginable.
With its professionally engineered chassis developments exploiting the 4/4 advantage of much less weight on the front wheels, A324's nimble handling is a revelation. Its tuned in-period motor maintains the car's classic character while delivering superb performance. Nothing will provide more satisfying Morgan motoring than an A324! This restoration cost the builder roughly $100,000. One look at the car and the time and expense put into the restoration is obvious. We are pleased to offer the car at price tens of thousands less than the cost to create this masterpiece. You will be proud and thrilled to own such a well crafted automobile.
