Bodywork completed, ready to assemble!
The bodywork and paint on this Oldsmobile Super 88 convertible is finished and the car is ready to be assembled. The interior has been re-upholstered in red and white, and the chrome bumpers have been beautifully replated. The 4 barrel 324ci Rocket V8 has been rebuilt and once it is installed it will be ready to hit the road. So you'll get a freshly painted, rust free body, a solid chassis, beautiful chrome pieces and a completely re-upholstered interior plus countless boxes of painted and rechromed parts. The next step is to paint the chassis and install the drive line. (The chassis has been sandblasted and kept indoors since.) The car will need the gauges and a new wiring harness. There is one scratch in the rear trunk that will need some attention but the paint on the rest of the car is just great. Don't let the dust fool you, this thing will glow under the bright sun.
This classic Olds also has new white-wall tires, disc brakes, a new windshield, and boxes and boxes of what you will need to get this timeless classic assembled. Once all is completed and put together this will be one very fine classic Oldsmobile Super 88 convertible worth upwards of $65,000+! Putting the car back together is the fun part.
