We have a nice classic 1948 Lincoln Continental for sale. This registered classic 1948 Lincoln Continental Convertible is one of only 452 built in 1948. The owner had installed a 1953 Ford flathead V8 engine in 2003 but the original V12 motor, radiator and motor mounts are included with the car!
This is a very original car with original upholstery and probably the original top! The rear window is dirty and you can see a small part where I wiped it off to show the writing on it. But a good wash would go a long ways.
The clutch was recently rebuilt and the pressure plate has been refaced. The brake system has also been redone and the gas tank has been cleaned. This Lincoln Continental is a perfect candidate for restoration or drive it as is and enjoy the pleasure of owning a classic 1948 Lincoln convertible this summer.
The hydraulic pump that works the electric windows and top has been rebuilt by the previous owner and it should just needs fluid to function. The undercarriage on this car has received a lot of attention. Much of the hard work has been done on this car. It starts right up and it runs down the road nicely.
The low gear does make a little noise as there is probably a missing tooth on the gears for first. It doesn't affect driving but there is a tick you can hear in low gear.
This Lincoln Continental convertible is a perfect investment opportunity, with some work you'll have a rare treasured classic that will make a nice addition to your collection.
